Don’t you think that the food is some kind of art? I mean good food of course!

If you do then you agree with those of the ancient Greeks who said that “the Culinary” or simply cooking was a real Art.

I completely agree with the Greeks in that question. Till now I have tried not so many cuisines but every time it was interesting and, in many cases, tasty!

I prefer Mexican food to any of the others for being unbelievably hot and extreme. Maybe that’s because it’s a mix of old Aztec and Spanish? If I come to a place where there is Mexican food first I always order nachos with salsa and guacamole on the side. Then, for the main course, I take enchiladas with traditional red sauce made of chili peppers and other seasonings (sometimes they make this sauce with tomatoes as well). And to extinguish my burning mouth I end my meal with icy red margarita glass.

I like Russian food also because it is satiating. When you finish a plate of “pelmeni”(meat-balls in dough) or “uha” fish-soup (usually eaten with bread on the side) you really feel “filled”!

Italian food I know now it’s probably only the pizza and the lasagna. And those crispy breads “Focaccos”, of course. But I heard they have one of world’s richest cuisines out there in Italy, don’t they? Maybe anyone can give me a tip what else have Italians great on their kitchen-tables?

Joyful Thinking

Loving food and chasing down the flavors that make us particularly joyful is a natural experience. We all need food to survive and we all prefer to enjoy the food we introduce into our bodies. Food can be a healthy form of energy or it can be an unhealthy obsession. When your love affair with food starts to add girth to your middle it is time to check the manner in which you love your food.

Many of us did not learn healthy food ideals as children. We were generally taught to love it incessantly and use it to fill our souls as well as our bodies, or we were taught that food makes us fat and we need to be cautious. There is a wonderful middle ground for the food lover that is in conflict. Eating too much isn’t healthy but neither is denying your body food. The basic requirement of healthy eating is rainbow eating, where you simply make sure that the foods you eat come in all kinds of varying natural colors. Rainbow eating does not imply that you choose twelve different colors of candy. It means that when you look at your plate you should see brown and red and most definitely, green. This means that you are introducing your body to some of the healthiest tastes available while eating in a balanced manner.

As you cook your food, remember that how you cook creates either a healthy or unhealthy meal. If you saturate and drown your foods in butter, salt, oils, and artificial flavorings you are killing the nutrients and the healthy effects. However, if you rely on natural flavors and you bring out those flavors by adding nominal amounts of additional cooking ingredients, you are creating a healthier option for your body.

Appropriate nutrition

Anyone who wants to keep himself in shape, it is necessary to know the main alternative to the food, which leads to obesity. Some of them are:
1) You should choose mustard instead of mayonnaise (because of the nature of mustard contains fewer calories and fat).
2) eat brown rice. Of the bread is best suitable wheat, oat or rye bread instead of white ( «brown» eat no more fat to be added in the manufacturing process for the change in color).
3) More often, cook the white meat turkey or chicken meat than beef or pork (the majority of fats that come to us inside - meat origin; white meat contains fewer calories)
4) Do not abuse soda water! Better to drink tea, or just water! Juices, unfortunately, may contain the same number of calories as a small bundle of chips. Therefore, try to gradually change their diet - rather than soda water drink a glass of green tea, but instead of fruit juice and eat a couple.
5) Try to buy skimmed milk and cheese, and vegetables cooked in a couple of much more preferable than those that contain mayonnaise in a salad.
6) If a hard day or you will not be able to have a house, get a fruit or nuts. When there is a feeling of hunger, then, rather than eat a chocolate bar, bought in a shop near, fruits are an excellent alternative to eating. The best way to approach a banana or pear, as they quickly quench hunger and are forced to feel satisfied.
